Engagement Pictures – Amanda & Brad in DC

Amanda and I have been friends for 9 years since meeting at JMU, and even lived together for 4 years after college.  I was so happy to meet up with them on Christmas Eve while I was home for the holidays to take engagement pictures for her and Brad around the Mall in DC, an especially favorite place for her given her love of US Presidents and anything history-related.  They were cracking each other up and were great sports in the cold wind, next up – wedding time in November!

I am a self-taught photographer, recently relocated from the east coast to Seattle, Washington and trying to experience as much as possible. I love portrait and concert photography, and want to get into more landscape and street photography here in the PNW.
